Christmas 2020 was one for the books! Between travelling to Tennessee and getting 6″ of snow (which is unheard of in San Antonio, TX) and the amount of product Lone Star Pure was able to send out, the June family was humbled by the amount of love we received through it all.
The month of December alone was the highest all-time sales number since opening our small business in June 2018. That accompanied with the realization of large potential growth in the coming year was enough to make anyone stress out. With the physical help and the emotional support from my amazing husband, as well as our fan base, Lone Star Pure received some monetary and intellectual investments. This enabled us to seize the upcoming year and allowed us to purchase a few necessities to launch ideas we had floating around in our heads.
January 2021 brought faith and hope that our small but quickly growing business would thrive over time. It also brought a little more stress, as the small ideas we had became a huge reality. We commenced a soft launch of our Jelly Of The Month Club, without much fanfare or commotion. Within 6 days of 2020 being the past and 2021 being the present, we had already received multiple requests from fans to sign up for the Club. We had not planned on January bringing much in the form of club members as we never officially announced the launch date, but we graciously accepted that people loved the idea; they loved OUR idea of how the Club should work.
Because of the growth from that alone, we proceeded in the ordering of stylish new packaging, epic new sticker labels, eye catching new logos and a lot of new paperwork. Flyers, forms, and fanfare were needed to spread the word about what was happening in the world of Lone Star Pure. We embraced it, we conquered it, and we accomplished our task. With our work complete, we proudly announced the hard launch of our Club would be February 1st.
Behind the scenes, it was just as busy. Our two older children were included in multiple Christmas trips with us and their mother. Between Tennessee, the Grand Canyon and extended road trips, they saw sights they will never forget. They made memories they will cherish forever. When they returned from their last trip, they began school and quickly (and successfully) fell back into the rhythm they were ready to get away from two and a half weeks prior. Our two littlest kids made the best of every snowflake in Tennessee. They received cuddles that they desperately waited for for months. They experienced the magic of Christmas and they came home talking about the activities they did while they were there. They also visited family in Texas. They had a blast with their aunts and uncles and grandparents, took plenty of pictures with family and gifts and ate WAY too many sweets. They may not realize it now, but all four children are so very loved by every life they have touched.
As for my husband and I, we enjoyed the well-deserved time away from work. We enjoyed the time with family that we do not see often. We indulged in the conversation with family we see frequently but miss all the same. We took a break from everything work related and took the time to remember each other. We returned home with the vigor restored to make more dreams come true…. bigger dreams. Dreams that will take years to accomplish but require constant hard work all the same.
And with all that said, we worried about and prayed for you all as well. We strive to remember why we are here, and why we do what we do. We truly enjoy hearing ideas, feedback, and ravings about what we have to offer. Without you, we would not have desires to turn in to dreams. We would not have dreams to turn into reality. Without you, we would have nothing.
Thank you and from the Lone Star Pure family, we hope you all had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
